 Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake Pizza

Ingredients

1 pre-made pizza crust

1½ cups yellow cake mix

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

½ cup milk chocolate chips

¼ cup granulated sugar

¼ cup light brown sugar, packed

Instructions

Prepare the crust: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll or press the pizza crust onto a lightly greased pizza pan or baking sheet. Using a fork, prick the crust evenly all over to prevent bubbling during the initial bake. Bake for 5 minutes, just until the crust begins to set but is not yet browned.

Make the cake mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the dry yellow cake mix with the melted butter. Stir with a spatula or spoon until a thick, paste-like consistency forms. Set aside.

Combine the sugars: In a small separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and brown sugar until evenly mixed.

Assemble the pizza: Remove the partially baked crust from the oven. Spread the cake mix–butter mixture evenly across the crust, leaving a ½-inch border around the edge for the crust. Sprinkle the milk chocolate chips over the cake layer, gently pressing them down with your fingers so they adhere. Evenly distribute the sugar mixture over the top, avoiding the outer crust edge.

Bake: Return the pizza to the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges of the crust are golden brown and the sugar topping has melted into a slightly crackled layer. The chocolate chips should be soft but still hold their shape.

Serve warm: Allow the dessert pizza to cool for 5 minutes before slicing with a pizza cutter. Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
