Grill Pan Honey Glazed Steak Strips

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb sirloin or flank steak, cut into thin strips
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the marinade:
    In a bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, and paprika (if using).
  2. Marinate the steak:
    Add the steak strips to the bowl and toss well to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15–30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).
  3. Heat the grill pan:
    Place a grill pan over medium-high heat and let it get hot.
  4. Cook the steak:
    Add the marinated steak strips in a single layer. Cook for about 2–3 minutes per side, until nicely seared and cooked through.
  5. Glaze and finish:
    Pour any remaining marinade into the pan and let it simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened and glossy.
  6. Serve:
    Remove from heat and serve hot. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped parsley if desired.

 Serving Ideas:

  • Serve over rice or noodles
  • Pair with steamed vegetables
  • Use in wraps or sandwiches
