Pepperoni Pizza Quesadillas A Fun Twist on Classic Pizza
Ingredients
- 4 (8-inch) flour tortillas
- 1 cup pizza sauce (¼ cup per quesadilla)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (about ¼ cup per quesadilla)
- ½–1 cup sliced pepperoni (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for crisping the tortillas)
- Optional: dried oregano, chili flakes, grated parmesan
Instructions
- Prepare the tortilla Heat a large non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly brush with olive oil or butter.
- Assemble Place one tortilla in the pan. Spread ¼ cup of pizza sauce over half of the tortilla.
- Add fillings Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then add pepperoni slices. Add a little extra cheese on top for better melting.
- Fold & cook Fold the tortilla in half to form a half-moon. Cook for 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Flip Carefully flip and cook the other side for another 2–3 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and the tortilla is crispy.
- Repeat Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Serving Tips
- Slice into triangles like pizza.
- Serve with extra warm pizza sauce for dipping.
- Sprinkle oregano or chili flakes for extra flavor.
