Slow Cooker 3-Ingredient Amish Apricot Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 to 6 pieces of chicken (thighs or breasts)
- 1 cup apricot preserves
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
Instructions:
- Place the chicken pieces in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, mix the apricot preserves with the dry onion soup mix until well combined.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken, making sure it is well coated.
- Cover and cook:
- On LOW for 6–7 hours
- Or on HIGH for 3–4 hours
- Once done, the chicken should be tender and the sauce rich and flavorful
Serving Suggestions:
- Serve over rice
- With mashed or roasted potatoes
- Or with bread to enjoy the sauce
Tips:
- For a thicker sauce, let it cook uncovered for a little longer at the end
- You can add garlic or black pepper for extra flavor
