Garlic Butter Bowtie Pasta with Beef – Easy 15-Minute Family Favorite!
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (or steak bites)
- 12 oz (340 g) bowtie (farfalle) pasta
- 4 tbsp salted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika (optional)
- ½ cup beef broth (or pasta water)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta
Boil the bowtie pasta in salted water according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain. - Cook the beef
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed. - Add garlic & butter
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the beef. Stir and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. - Season
Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and paprika. - Make it saucy
Pour in the beef broth (or reserved pasta water). Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to create a light garlic butter sauce. - Combine
Add the drained pasta to the skillet. Toss well to coat everything in the sauce. - Finish with cheese
Sprinkle in Parmesan cheese and toss again until melted and creamy. - Garnish & serve
Top with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if you like. Serve hot!
Tip: Add a splash of cream or a handful of spinach for extra richness and color.
