Garlic Butter Bowtie Pasta with Beef – Easy 15-Minute Family Favorite!

 Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (or steak bites)
  • 12 oz (340 g) bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 4 tbsp salted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • ½ cup beef broth (or pasta water)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

 Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta
Boil the bowtie pasta in salted water according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Cook the beef
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add garlic & butter
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the beef. Stir and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Season
Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Make it saucy
Pour in the beef broth (or reserved pasta water). Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to create a light garlic butter sauce.
  6. Combine
Add the drained pasta to the skillet. Toss well to coat everything in the sauce.
  7. Finish with cheese
Sprinkle in Parmesan cheese and toss again until melted and creamy.
  8. Garnish & serve
Top with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if you like. Serve hot!

Tip: Add a splash of cream or a handful of spinach for extra richness and color.
