 Pizza Burger

All the flavors of pizza packed into a juicy burger.

Ingredients

For the Burger Patties

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For Assembling

  • Burger buns
  • Sliced mozzarella cheese
  • Extra marinara sauce
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Optional toppings: sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, olives

Instructions

  1. Make the patties
    In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, marinara sauce, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined. Form into burger patties.
  2. Cook the patties
    Heat a skillet or grill over medium heat. Cook patties 4–5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  3. Add the cheese
    During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of mozzarella on each patty. Cover briefly to melt.
  4. Toast the buns
    Lightly toast the burger buns for better texture.
  5. Assemble the Pizza Burger
    Spread marinara sauce on the bottom bun. Add the cheesy patty, top with pepperoni and any optional toppings. Close with the top bun.
  6. Serve hot
    Enjoy immediately while the cheese is melty and the burger is juicy.

Tips

  • You can broil the assembled burger for 1–2 minutes to get a true “pizza” finish.
  • Swap beef for ground chicken or turkey if preferred.
