Reese’s Pieces Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
Ingredients
Dry Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Mix-ins:
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup Reese’s Pieces candies
Instructions
- Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it. - Mix dry ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. - Combine wet ingredients
In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined. - Combine wet & dry
Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix. - Add mix-ins
Fold in the chocolate chips and Reese’s Pieces evenly throughout the dough. - Bake
Spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs. - Cool & serve
Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Tips
- For extra gooey bars, slightly underbake them.
- Add a sprinkle of sea salt on top for a sweet-salty flavor.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
