Slow Cooker Buttered Red Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1.5 kg baby red potatoes, washed
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick), cut into pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh)
- Optional: grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Wash the potatoes well and keep them whole.
- Place the potatoes in the slow cooker.
- Add the butter pieces on top of the potatoes.
- Sprinkle garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until fork-tender.
- Stir gently to coat the potatoes in the melted butter.
- Sprinkle parmesan on top before serving (optional).
