Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional topping: crushed crackers or breadcrumbs for extra crunch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta: Boil the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Make cheese sauce:
    • In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Add the milk and cream cheese, stirring until smooth.
    • Gradually add cheddar, mozzarella, Monterey Jack, and Parmesan, stirring until fully melted and creamy.
    • Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine pasta and sauce: Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Bake:
    • Pour the cheesy pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish.
    • Top with extra shredded cheese or crushed crackers if desired.
    • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Serve: Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the ultimate cheesy comfort!
