 Creamy Chicken Pasta (Slow Cooker)

 Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream (cooking cream)
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or dried thyme + oregano)
  • 300 g pasta (rings, penne, or any short pasta)
  • ½ cup grated parmesan
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

 Instructions

  1. Put chicken, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, seasoning, and chicken broth in the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on LOW for 4–5 hours (or HIGH for 2–3 hours) until chicken is tender.
  3. Add heavy cream and cream cheese. Stir well until smooth.
  4. Add the raw pasta directly into the slow cooker and mix.
  5. Cover and cook on HIGH for 25–35 minutes until pasta is soft. Stir once or twice.
  6. Add parmesan and mix.
  7. Sprinkle parsley on top and serve hot.

 Tips

  • If sauce is thick: add a little hot water or broth.
  • If too thin: leave uncovered 10 minutes.
  • You can add mushrooms or spinach.
