Oven-Baked 4-Ingredient Amish Chicken and Green Bean Bake
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 lb fresh or frozen green beans
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a lightly greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Add soup: Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the chicken, spreading it evenly.
- Add green beans: Arrange the green beans around and on top of the chicken.
- Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 35-40 minutes (if chicken breasts are large, check for doneness at 45 minutes).
- Add cheese: Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top, and bake uncovered for another 5-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Let it rest for 5 minutes, then serve warm.
Tips:
- For extra flavor, sprinkle some garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika over the chicken before baking.
