Orange Creamsicle Pie
A refreshing, creamy, no-bake dessert with that classic orange-vanilla flavor—just like a creamsicle!
Ingredients
For the crust:
- 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
For the filling:
- 1 package (3 oz / 85 g) orange gelatin (like Jell-O)
- ⅔ cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1 container (8 oz / 225 g) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
Instructions
- Make the crust
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes to set.
- Prepare the orange layer
- In a bowl, dissolve the orange gelatin in boiling water.
- Stir until fully dissolved, then add cold water.
- Let it cool to room temperature (do not let it fully set).
- Make the creamy filling
- Whisk the vanilla yogurt into the cooled gelatin.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth and fluffy.
- Assemble the pie
- Pour the filling into the chilled crust and spread evenly.
- Chill
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
- Serve
- Slice and serve chilled.
- Optional: top with whipped cream or orange zest for extra flavor.
Tips
- For a stronger orange flavor, add a little orange zest.
- You can freeze it for a firmer, ice-cream-like texture.
- Use a store-bought crust to save time.
