Air Fryer Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (white, sourdough, or whole wheat)
- 2–3 slices cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or American)
- 1 tablespoon butter (or mayonnaise)
Instructions
- Prepare the bread
Spread butter (or mayo) on one side of each slice of bread. - Assemble the sandwich
- Place one slice of bread butter side down
- Add cheese on top
- Cover with the second slice, butter side up
- Air fry
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350–370°F)
- Place sandwich in the basket
- Cook for 4 minutes
- Flip & finish
- Flip the sandwich carefully
- Cook another 3–4 minutes until golden and crispy
- Serve
Remove, slice, and enjoy while hot!
Tips
- Use thick bread for better crunch
- Add extras like tomato, ham, or bacon for variation
- Don’t overload cheese or it may leak out
- Cooking time is usually under 10 minutes total
