Cheesy Corn Pudding

Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 oz / 425 g) whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 can (15 oz / 425 g) cream-style corn
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup milk (optional, for extra creaminess)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×9-inch (23×23 cm) baking dish or similar casserole dish.
2. Mix the Ingredients
- In a large bowl, combine the whole kernel corn and cream-style corn.
- Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, shredded cheddar cheese, flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir until everything is evenly mixed. If you want a creamier texture, add milk gradually.
3. Bake
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set in the center.
4. Serve
- Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
- Delicious warm as a side dish for holidays, dinners, or casual meals.
Tips:
- For extra cheesy flavor, sprinkle a little more cheddar on top before baking.
- You can add diced jalapeños or bell peppers for a spicy or colorful twist.
- Corn pudding can also be made ahead and baked right before serving.
