{"id":847,"date":"2026-01-17T06:51:05","date_gmt":"2026-01-17T06:51:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes.ukbiddingdirectory.com\/?p=847"},"modified":"2026-01-17T06:51:05","modified_gmt":"2026-01-17T06:51:05","slug":"jerk-chicken-lasagna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes.ukbiddingdirectory.com\/index.php\/2026\/01\/17\/jerk-chicken-lasagna\/","title":{"rendered":"Jerk Chicken Lasagna"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Jerk Chicken Lasagna<\/h1>\n<h2>\nIngredients:<\/h2>\n<h4>For the chicken:<\/h4>\n<p>1 lb (450 g) chicken breast or thighs, cooked and shredded<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp jerk seasoning<\/p>\n<p>1 tbsp olive oil<\/p>\n<h4>For the sauce:<\/h4>\n<p>1 can (14 oz \/ 400 g) crushed tomatoes<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup tomato sauce<\/p>\n<p>1 small onion, diced<\/p>\n<p>2 cloves garlic, minced<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp thyme<\/p>\n<p>Salt and pepper, to taste<\/p>\n<h4>For the lasagna layers:<\/h4>\n<p>9\u201312 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package instructions<\/p>\n<p>2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup ricotta cheese<\/p>\n<p>Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish)<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions:<\/h2>\n<h4>Cook the chicken:<\/h4>\n<p>Toss shredded chicken with jerk seasoning and olive oil. Set aside.<\/p>\n<h4>Prepare the sauce:<\/h4>\n<p>In a skillet, saut\u00e9 onion and garlic until softened. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<h4>Assemble lasagna:<\/h4>\n<p>Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F (190\u00b0C). In a baking dish, layer noodles, sauce, jerk chicken, ricotta, and mozzarella. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used. Top with Parmesan cheese.<\/p>\n<h4>Bake:<\/h4>\n<p>Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes.
