Perfect for a cozy family dinner!<\/p>\n<h3>Ingredients<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>4 large potatoes, scrubbed and baked<\/li>\n<li>8 slices bacon<\/li>\n<li>4 tablespoons unsalted butter<\/li>\n<li>2 garlic cloves, minced<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup yellow onion, finely diced<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>3 cups chicken broth<\/li>\n<li>2 cups whole milk<\/li>\n<li>1 cup heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup sour cream<\/li>\n<li>Salt and black pepper, to taste<\/li>\n<li>Chopped green onions, for garnish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Instructions<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Bake the potatoes at <strong>400\u00b0F (200\u00b0C)<\/strong> until tender, about 45\u201360 minutes. Let them cool slightly, then peel and chop them into chunks.<\/li>\n<li>Cook the bacon in a large pot until crispy. Remove the bacon and crumble it, leaving about 1 tablespoon of bacon drippings in the pot.<\/li>\n<li>Add the butter, onion, and garlic. Cook for 2\u20133 minutes until fragrant and softened.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.<\/li>\n<li>Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, milk, and heavy cream.
