{"id":5137,"date":"2026-05-17T21:48:58","date_gmt":"2026-05-17T21:48:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes.ukbiddingdirectory.com\/?p=5137"},"modified":"2026-05-17T21:48:58","modified_gmt":"2026-05-17T21:48:58","slug":"shepherds-pie-baked-potato","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes.ukbiddingdirectory.com\/index.php\/2026\/05\/17\/shepherds-pie-baked-potato\/","title":{"rendered":"Shepherd\u2019s Pie Baked Potato"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Shepherd\u2019s Pie Baked Potato<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Ingredients<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>4 large russet potatoes<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li>Salt &amp; black pepper<\/li>\n<li>500 g ground beef or lamb<\/li>\n<li>1 onion, diced<\/li>\n<li>2 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n<li>2 carrots, diced<\/li>\n<li>1 celery stalk, diced<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp tomato paste<\/li>\n<li>1 cup beef broth<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp thyme<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp rosemary<\/li>\n<li>1 cup frozen peas<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp butter<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup milk<\/li>\n<li>1 cup shredded cheddar cheese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Instructions<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat oven to 220\u00b0C (425\u00b0F). Rub potatoes with olive oil and salt, prick with a fork, then bake for 45\u201360 minutes until soft.<\/li>\n<li>In a skillet, cook onion, garlic, carrots, and celery for 5 minutes. Add beef or lamb and brown well.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, herbs, and beef broth. Simmer 10\u201315 minutes until thickened. Add peas.<\/li>\n<li>Slice baked potatoes in half and scoop out most of the inside.<\/li>\n<li>Mash the potato flesh with butter, milk, salt, pepper, and half the cheese.<\/li>\n<li>Fill potato skins with the meat mixture, then top with mashed potatoes.
