 Cheesy Beef Biscuit Bake

 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 4 oz (120g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or soft dinner roll dough)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

 Instructions:

  1. Cook the beef
    • In a pan, cook ground beef with onion over medium heat.
    • Add garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and seasoning.
    • Cook until browned and fully done. Drain excess fat.
  2. Prepare creamy layer
    • In a bowl, mix cream cheese with a little salt and pepper until smooth.
  3. Assemble
    • Grease a baking dish.
    • Spread the cooked beef evenly at the bottom.
    • Add spoonfuls of cream cheese over the beef.
    • Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Add the dough
    • Cut biscuit dough into small pieces and place them over the top (covering the surface).
  5. Bake
    • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  6. Finish
    • Brush melted butter on top and sprinkle parsley.

 Tips:

  • Add cooked bacon for extra flavor
  • You can mix a little milk with cream cheese for a softer texture
  • Serve warm for that perfect cheesy stretch
