 Ingredients

  • 1 large green cabbage
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: garlic powder or paprika (for extra flavor)

 Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the Cabbage
Remove any damaged outer leaves. Cut the cabbage into thick wedges (about 6–8 pieces), keeping the core intact so they stay together.

3. Season
Place the wedges on the baking sheet. Brush each piece generously with melted butter. Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly over the top.

4. Roast
Roast in the oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are crispy and golden brown.

5. Serve
Remove from the oven and serve hot. Add a little extra butter on top if you like it richer.

 Tips

  • For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2–3 minutes.
  • Add grated Parmesan cheese during the last 5 minutes for a cheesy twist.
  • A squeeze of lemon juice before serving adds freshness.
