Strawberry Banana Pudding Dream
Ingredients
- 2 boxes vanilla wafers
- 6 to 8 bananas, sliced
- 1 container fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the cold milk and vanilla pudding mix until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Mix well until fully combined.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture becomes creamy and fluffy.
- In a large dish (or trifle bowl), start layering:
- First layer: vanilla wafers
- Second layer: sliced bananas
- Third layer: sliced strawberries
- Fourth layer: pudding mixture
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of pudding on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is even better) to let the flavors blend and the wafers soften.
Tips
- Add a squeeze of lemon juice to the bananas to prevent browning.
- Use ripe but firm bananas for the best texture.
- You can crush some wafers on top for extra crunch before serving.
- For extra flavor, drizzle a little strawberry syrup between layers.
Serving
Serve chilled. This dessert is creamy, fruity, and perfect for gatherings or a sweet treat at home
