Cannelloni with Ground Beef and Cheese

 Ingredients:

  • 12 cannelloni tubes
  • 300g ground beef
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or any melting cheese)
  • ½ cup extra tomato sauce (for topping)

 Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, cook until soft and fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Pour in the tomato sauce, then add salt, pepper, and oregano. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Stuff the cannelloni tubes with the meat mixture (you can use a spoon or piping bag).
  6. Spread a little tomato sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Arrange the stuffed cannelloni in the dish.
  8. Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the top.
  9. Sprinkle generously with shredded cheese.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.

 Tips:

  • If you don’t have cannelloni, you can use lasagna sheets and roll them.
  • Add béchamel sauce for a creamier texture.
  • Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving for best results.
