 Creamed Chipped Beef Cheese Ball

 Ingredients:

  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 jar (2.5 oz) dried chipped beef, rinsed, drained & chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • Optional: chopped parsley or extra beef for coating

 Instructions:

  1. Soften & Mix Base
    In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add Flavor
    Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Add Meat & Cheese
    Fold in the chopped chipped beef, shredded cheddar, and green onions.
  4. Shape the Ball
    Transfer mixture onto plastic wrap and shape into a ball.
  5. Chill
    Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) until firm.
  6. Coat (Optional)
    Roll the cheese ball in extra chipped beef, parsley, or even crushed nuts.

 Serving Ideas:

  • Serve with crackers
  • Toasted baguette slices
  • Pretzels or veggie sticks

 Tips:

  • Rinsing the chipped beef helps reduce saltiness
  • Let it sit at room temp for 10 minutes before serving for easier spreading
