Creamy Crockpot Mac and Cheese

 Creamy Crockpot Mac and Cheese

 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (macaroni or small shells)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

 Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente (slightly firm), then drain.
  2. Prepare the crockpot
Lightly grease the crockpot with butter to prevent sticking.
  3. Combine ingredients
Add the cooked pasta, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, milk, heavy cream, butter, and all seasonings. Stir everything together well.
  4. Slow cook
Cover and cook on Low for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally to keep it creamy and prevent sticking.
  5. Serve
Once the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is rich and creamy, serve warm.

 Tips:

  • Add extra cheese on top before serving for more creaminess
  • You can mix in cooked ground beef or chicken for a heartier dish
  • For a thicker texture, reduce the amount of milk slightly
