Creamy Crockpot Mac and Cheese
Ingredients:
- 2 cups uncooked pasta (macaroni or small shells)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente (slightly firm), then drain. - Prepare the crockpot
Lightly grease the crockpot with butter to prevent sticking. - Combine ingredients
Add the cooked pasta, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, milk, heavy cream, butter, and all seasonings. Stir everything together well. - Slow cook
Cover and cook on Low for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally to keep it creamy and prevent sticking. - Serve
Once the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is rich and creamy, serve warm.
Tips:
- Add extra cheese on top before serving for more creaminess
- You can mix in cooked ground beef or chicken for a heartier dish
- For a thicker texture, reduce the amount of milk slightly
