Creamy Slow Cooker Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese (2 blocks)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper evenly over the chicken.
  3. Pour the chicken broth around the chicken to help create a creamy sauce while cooking.
  4. Place the blocks of cream cheese on top of the chicken.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir it together with the melted cream cheese to create a rich creamy sauce.
  7. If desired, add shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Serving Ideas

This creamy chicken is delicious served over:

  • Rice
  • Pasta
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Toasted bread
  • Or even inside sandwiches

Tip: You can also add mushrooms, spinach, or broccoli during the last hour of cooking for extra flavor and nutrition.
