Slow Cooker Cream Cheese Corn Casserole
A rich, creamy, and super easy side dish made right in the slow cooker. Perfect for family dinners, BBQs, or holidays!
Ingredients
- 4 cups frozen corn (or 2 cans corn, drained)
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, cubed
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the slow cooker:
Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker. - Add ingredients:
Place the corn, cream cheese, butter, and milk into the slow cooker. - Season:
Add garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir gently to combine. - Cook:
Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, stirring once or twice during cooking. - Add cheese (optional):
About 20 minutes before serving, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese for extra flavor. - Serve:
Stir well until creamy and smooth. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Tips
- Add crispy bacon bits for extra flavor.
- A pinch of paprika or chili flakes adds a nice kick.
