It’s a simple yet impressive dinner that comes together in about 25 minutes and pairs perfectly with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Season the pork
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
2. Make the sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together:
- brown sugar
- soy sauce
- Dijon mustard
- Worcestershire sauce
- minced garlic
Mix well until the sugar starts dissolving.
3. Heat the pan
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Sear the pork chops
Place the pork chops in the hot skillet and cook for about 4–5 minutes on each side until nicely browned.
5. Add the sauce
Pour the brown sugar sauce over the pork chops. Reduce heat to medium and cook for another 5–7 minutes, spooning the sauce over the chops as it thickens.
