Slow Cooker Garlic Chicken & Potatoes (Creamy Version)
Ingredients
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cups potatoes, diced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Place the diced potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss lightly.
- Lay the chicken breasts on top of the potatoes.
- In a small bowl, mix the chicken broth, heavy cream, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken and potatoes.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- Sprinkle the shredded Parmesan cheese on top during the last 10–15 minutes of cooking.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
