Ingredients
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
3 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
8 ounces linguine pasta
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Season the Chicken
Season the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
3. Cook the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken pieces and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
4. Make the Garlic Butter Base
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
5. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring well.
Add garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
6. Add the Cheese
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese slowly until the sauce becomes smooth, creamy, and rich.
7. Combine Everything
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to coat it in the Alfredo sauce.
Add the cooked linguine pasta and toss everything together until well combined.
8. Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
Tips
Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor and nutrition.
If the sauce becomes too thick, add a splash of pasta water or extra cream.
Serve with garlic bread or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
