Cinnamon Roll Apple Lasagna – Warm, Sweet & Melt-in-Your-Mouth Comfort!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 4 cups apple pie filling
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Prepare the cinnamon rolls:
    Open the cans and cut each cinnamon roll into 4 pieces. Set the icing aside for later.
  3. Make the apple mixture:
    In a bowl, mix the apple pie filling with cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar.
  4. First layer:
    Spread half of the cinnamon roll pieces in the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Second layer:
    Spoon half of the apple mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces. Sprinkle some nuts if using.
  6. Repeat layers:
    Add the remaining cinnamon roll pieces, then the rest of the apple mixture.
  7. Bake:
    Bake for 30–35 minutes until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Make the cream cheese drizzle:
    In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and the icing from the cinnamon rolls until smooth.
  9. Finish:
    Drizzle the cream cheese mixture and caramel sauce over the warm lasagna.

Serve warm for the ultimate cozy dessert. Perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
