Saucy Ground Beef Noodles
Sweet, savory, and perfectly saucy — this easy noodle dish comes together in under 30 minutes!
Ingredients
- 8 oz wide rice noodles or linguine-style noodles
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (optional)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional but recommended)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add vegetable oil.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Stir in garlic and ginger and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Stir well.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Pour into the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens (about 1–2 minutes).
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the sauce.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot.
