 Saucy Ground Beef Noodles

Sweet, savory, and perfectly saucy — this easy noodle dish comes together in under 30 minutes!

 Ingredients

  • 8 oz wide rice noodles or linguine-style noodles
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional but recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add vegetable oil.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
  4. Stir in garlic and ginger and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Stir well.
  6. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Pour into the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens (about 1–2 minutes).
  7. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot.
