Deep Dish Pizza Cupcakes

Mini deep-dish pizzas baked in a muffin tin — cheesy, saucy, and ready in under 30 minutes!

 Ingredients:

  • 1 can (8 oz) seamless crescent roll dough sheet
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • ¼ cup mini pepperoni slices (or your favorite toppings)
  • ¼ cup cooked sausage or diced veggies (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Cooking spray or a little olive oil

 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Prepare the dough:
    Unroll the crescent dough sheet and cut into 12 equal squares.
  3. Form the cups:
    Press each square into the muffin cups, gently pushing the dough up the sides to create little crust bowls.
  4. Layer the filling:
    • Add 1 tablespoon mozzarella to each cup.
    • Spoon about 1 tablespoon pizza sauce on top.
    • Add pepperoni and any other toppings.
    • Sprinkle with Parmesan and Italian seasoning.
  5. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Cool slightly before removing from the pan. Serve warm!

 Tips:

  • Try different toppings: olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, or cooked chicken.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Brush the crust edges with garlic butter after baking for extra flavor.
