Cheesy Italian Meat Stromboli (Pizza Roll)
Ingredients:
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade pizza dough)
- Sliced mozzarella cheese
- Sliced provolone cheese (optional)
- Deli ham slices
- Salami slices
- Pepperoni slices (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- Pizza sauce or marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough onto a lightly greased baking sheet.
- Layer the cheeses first (mozzarella and provolone).
- Add deli ham, salami, and pepperoni evenly over the cheese.
- Add another light layer of cheese on top for extra meltiness.
- Carefully roll the dough tightly into a log (like a jelly roll).
- Pinch the seams and tuck in the ends to seal.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley. Brush it generously over the top.
- Make small diagonal slits on top of the roll.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown.
To Serve:
Let it cool for 5 minutes, slice, and serve with warm pizza or marinara sauce for dipping.
