 Slow Cooker Meatballs & Potatoes

 Ingredients:

  • 1 kg frozen or fresh meatballs
  • 4–5 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

 Instructions:

  1. If using fresh meatballs, lightly brown them in a pan with olive oil (optional but gives better flavor).
  2. Place diced potatoes on one side of the slow cooker.
  3. Add meatballs on the other side.
  4. In a bowl, mix broth, tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic, onion, and all spices.
  5. Pour the sauce evenly over everything.
  6. Cover and cook:
    • Low: 6–7 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
  7. Stir gently before serving.

 Optional:

  • Add grated cheese on top during the last 15 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve with bread or rice.
