Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar (24 oz / 680g) marinara sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (optional)
- 1 package (25 oz / 700g) frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Cook the Meat
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Add chopped onion and cook 2–3 minutes until soft.
- Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds more.
- Drain excess grease.
Make the Sauce
- Add marinara sauce and diced tomatoes to the meat.
- Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
Layer in the Crockpot
- Spray the crockpot with cooking spray.
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom.
- Add a layer of frozen ravioli.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers (sauce → ravioli → cheese) until ingredients are used.
- Finish with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
Cook
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours
OR - Cook on HIGH for 2–3 hours
Until ravioli are tender and cheese is melted.
To Serve
- Let it rest 10–15 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
Tips
- You can use ground sausage instead of beef.
- Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- If you like it creamy, mix ½ cup ricotta with the layers.
