Garlic Herb Slow Cooker Beef Bites

Tender, juicy beef cubes slow cooked in a rich garlic herb sauce. This easy crockpot recipe is perfect for busy weeknights and requires minimal prep!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast, cut into 1½-inch cubes
  • 1 large onion, diced

Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Optional (for thicker gravy):

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water

Instructions

  1. Place the diced onion at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Add the cubed beef evenly on top.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, thyme, rosemary, and black pepper.
  4. Pour the sauce over the beef.
  5. Add butter on top.
  6. Cover and cook:
    • LOW for 7–8 hours
      or
    • HIGH for 4–5 hours
  7. For a thicker gravy, mix cornstarch with cold water and stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.

  • Mashed potatoes
  • White rice
  • Egg noodles
  • Steamed vegetables
