Garlic Herb Slow Cooker Beef Bites
Tender, juicy beef cubes slow cooked in a rich garlic herb sauce. This easy crockpot recipe is perfect for busy weeknights and requires minimal prep!
Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef chuck roast, cut into 1½-inch cubes
- 1 large onion, diced
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
Optional (for thicker gravy):
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon cold water
Instructions
- Place the diced onion at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the cubed beef evenly on top.
- In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, thyme, rosemary, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the beef.
- Add butter on top.
- Cover and cook:
- LOW for 7–8 hours
or - HIGH for 4–5 hours
- LOW for 7–8 hours
- For a thicker gravy, mix cornstarch with cold water and stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
