Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin

 Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin

A juicy, flavorful pork tenderloin wrapped in crispy bacon—perfect for a family dinner or special occasion.

Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 1 pork tenderloin (about 1–1.5 lbs)
  • 8–10 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional, for slight sweetness)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional, for extra flavor)

 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the pork:
Pat the tenderloin dry with paper towels.
  3. Season:
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Rub the mixture all over the pork.
If using, spread Dijon mustard lightly over the top.
  4. Wrap with bacon:
Lay bacon slices side by side slightly overlapping. Place the pork tenderloin on top and carefully roll it so the bacon wraps around it.
    Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  5. Add sweetness (optional):
Sprinkle brown sugar over the bacon for a caramelized finish.
  6. Bake:
Place seam-side down on the baking sheet. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Broil (optional):
For crispier bacon, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end—watch carefully so it doesn’t burn.
  8. Rest:
Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.

Serving Ideas

  • Mashed potatoes
  • Roasted vegetables
  • Garlic green beans
  • Side salad

 Tips

  • Use thin-cut bacon so it crisps properly.
  • Don’t overcook—pork tenderloin is best slightly pink inside.
  • You can sear it in a skillet for 2–3 minutes per side before baking for extra flavor.
