 Cherry Dessert Pizza

A soft, sweet dessert pizza topped with creamy cheesecake filling and luscious cherries — perfect for gatherings or whenever you’re craving something fruity and indulgent!

Ingredients

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Crust:

  • 1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough (16–18 oz)

For the Topping:

  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

 Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the crust:
    Press the sugar cookie dough evenly into a 12-inch round pizza pan (or baking sheet). Try to keep the thickness even so it bakes uniformly.
  3. Bake:
    Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
    Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before adding the topping.
  4. Make the cream cheese layer:
    In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
    Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Beat until fully combined and fluffy.
  5. Assemble the pizza:
    Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
    Spoon the cherry pie filling over the top and gently spread it out.
  6. Chill:
    Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing to allow everything to set properly.
  7. Slice & Serve:
    Cut like a pizza and enjoy every creamy, fruity bite!

 Tips

  • Make sure the crust is completely cool before adding the cream cheese layer to prevent melting.
  • You can substitute cherry pie filling with strawberry, blueberry, or mixed berry for variety.
  • For extra indulgence, drizzle melted white chocolate on top before serving.
