Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the crust:
Press the sugar cookie dough evenly into a 12-inch round pizza pan (or baking sheet). Try to keep the thickness even so it bakes uniformly. - Bake:
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before adding the topping. - Make the cream cheese layer:
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Beat until fully combined and fluffy. - Assemble the pizza:
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
Spoon the cherry pie filling over the top and gently spread it out. - Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing to allow everything to set properly. - Slice & Serve:
Cut like a pizza and enjoy every creamy, fruity bite!
Tips
- Make sure the crust is completely cool before adding the cream cheese layer to prevent melting.
- You can substitute cherry pie filling with strawberry, blueberry, or mixed berry for variety.
- For extra indulgence, drizzle melted white chocolate on top before serving.
