 Taco Dorito Crockpot Recipe

 Ingredients:

For the meat mixture:

  • 1 lb (450–500 g) ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies)
  • ½ cup Catalina dressing
  • ½ cup water (optional, for extra moisture)

Toppings & add-ins:

  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Sweet corn (canned or cooked)
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

For serving:

  • Crushed Doritos

 Instructions:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Transfer the cooked beef to a slow cooker (crockpot).
  3. Add taco seasoning, Rotel, Catalina dressing, and optional water. Stir well to combine.
  4. Cover and cook:
    • LOW: 3–4 hours
    • HIGH: 1.5–2 hours

 Before Serving:

  1. Stir in shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, corn, and shredded cheese.

 Serving:

  1. Spoon the mixture into bowls or plates.
  2. Top with crushed Doritos.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy!

 Tips:

  • Add black beans or olives for extra flavor.
  • Make it spicy with hot sauce or jalapeños.
  • Serve as a taco filling, nacho topping, or sandwich filling.
