Pineapple Bake

 Pineapple Bake (Easy & Comforting)

 Ingredients:

  • 1 can (20 oz / 567 g) crushed pineapple (do NOT drain)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (optional but classic)
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup Ritz crackers (or crushed butter crackers)

 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix pineapple (with juice), sugar, and eggs.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. In another bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter.
  6. Sprinkle cracker mixture evenly on top.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

 Serving Ideas:

  • Serve warm as a holiday side dish
  • Pair with ham, turkey, or roasted chicken
  • Enjoy as a sweet dessert
