Frozen Fruit Salad
Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- 1–2 cups mixed fruit (mandarin oranges, fruit cocktail, strawberries, or grapes)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and whipped topping. Stir gently until smooth.
- Add the drained pineapple, cherries, mini marshmallows, nuts (if using), and mixed fruit.
- Fold everything together carefully so the mixture stays fluffy.
- Pour into a freezer-safe dish or container.
- Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Remove from freezer about 10–15 minutes before serving so it softens slightly.
- Scoop and serve chilled!
Tips & Variations
- Add shredded coconut for extra flavor
- Use cream cheese (softened) for a richer texture
- Swap fruit based on what you like peaches, mango, or berries work great
- Serve in slices like ice cream cake or scoop like frozen mousse
