DEEP DISH PIZZA POT PIE
Gooey mozzarella, provolone, rich pizza sauce, and your favorite toppings baked inside ramekins under golden, puffy pizza dough. Flip it upside down for a dramatic, melty reveal!
Ingredients
- 1 large portion pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup pizza sauce (marinara-style)
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
- ½ cup cooked Italian sausage or ground beef (optional)
- ½ cup pepperoni slices
- ½ cup mushrooms, sliced
- ½ cup bell peppers, diced
- ¼ cup black olives, sliced (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Olive oil or melted butter (for greasing)
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). - Prepare the ramekins
Generously grease 2–4 oven-safe ramekins with olive oil or melted butter. - Layer the fillings
- Spoon 2–3 tablespoons of pizza sauce into the bottom of each ramekin.
- Add a layer of mozzarella and provolone cheese.
- Top with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers, olives, and any other toppings you like.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan.
- Finish with another spoon of pizza sauce and a final layer of cheese.
- Add the dough
- Roll out the pizza dough and cut circles slightly larger than the ramekins.
- Place dough over each ramekin, tucking the edges down the sides to seal.
- Bake
- Place ramekins on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and fully cooked.
- Flip & serve
- Let rest for 5 minutes.
- Carefully run a knife around the edges, place a plate on top, and flip upside down for the big reveal!
- Garnish & enjoy
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
- Serve hot and melty

- Add ricotta for extra creaminess
- Brush the dough with garlic butter before baking
- Serve with extra warm pizza sauce on the side
