Instructions
What you’ll do
- Heat things up
Preheat your grill to medium heat or your oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking sheet or lightly oil a grill grate. - Mix the magic
In a large bowl, gently combine:- Ground beef
- BBQ sauce
- Cheddar cheese
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Black pepper
- Salt
Mix just until combined—overmixing = tough bombs, and we want juicy chaos.
- Form the bombs
Scoop about 2–3 tablespoons per bomb and roll into balls. You should get around 10–12 bombs. - Optional but highly encouraged upgrades
- Wrap each ball in ½ slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick
- Or press a cube of extra cheddar into the center before rolling 👀
- Cook
- Grill: 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally
- Oven: 18–22 minutes, flipping once
You’re aiming for 160°F internal temp and caramelized BBQ goodness on the outside.
- Rest + devour Let them rest for 5 minutes (hardest step). Brush with extra BBQ sauce if you’re feeling bold.
