Monte Cristo Sliders

Ingredients:
- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls (or any soft dinner rolls)
- 6 slices deli turkey
- 6 slices deli ham
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Egg Mixture:
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
For Serving:
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
- Raspberry or strawberry jam (for dipping)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Slice the rolls in half horizontally, keeping the bottom halves connected.
- Place the bottom half of the rolls into a greased baking dish.
- Layer the ingredients evenly:
- Swiss cheese
- Turkey
- Ham
- Another layer of Swiss cheese
- Cover with the top half of the rolls.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
- Pour or brush the egg mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the sliders.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Serving Instructions:
- Dust the tops with powdered sugar.
- Serve warm with raspberry or strawberry jam on the side for dipping.
Tips & Notes:
- For extra crisp tops, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end (watch closely).
- You can cover loosely with foil if the tops brown too fast.
- These sliders are perfect for brunch, parties, or an easy dinner.
