Juicy Steak with Creamy Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
For the Steak
- 2–4 beef steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or filet)
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4–5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup beef broth (or chicken broth)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Cook the Steak
- Take the steaks out of the fridge 20–30 minutes before cooking.
- Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a hot skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear steaks for 3–5 minutes per side (depending on thickness) until juicy and browned.
- Add thyme or rosemary during the last minute.
- Remove steaks from the pan and let them rest.
2. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.
- Add butter and garlic, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and stir well.
- Mix in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
- Simmer until sauce thickens (3–5 minutes).
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Combine & Serve
- Return steaks to the pan and spoon sauce over them.
- Simmer for 1–2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
