Homemade 2-Ingredient Condensed Milk

Delicious, economical, and easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Pour the milk and sugar into a saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar completely dissolves.
  3. Once it starts to boil, reduce the heat to low.
  4. Let the mixture simmer gently for 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and reduces by about half.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool. It will thicken more as it cools.
  6. Store in a clean jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Notes & Tips

  • Do not let it boil rapidly, or it may burn.
  • Stir often to avoid sticking to the bottom.
  • Use whole milk for the best creamy texture.
  • Perfect for desserts, coffee, cakes, and pies.
