Easy Sausage Muffins
Ingredients
- 1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup Bisquick (or any baking mix)
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ tsp black pepper (optional)
- ¼ tsp garlic powder or onion powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin.
- Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned. Drain excess grease.
- In a large bowl, mix Bisquick, eggs, and milk until just combined.
- Stir in cooked sausage and shredded cheese. Add seasonings if using.
- Spoon the mixture evenly into muffin cups (about ¾ full).
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, until golden and set.
- Let cool slightly… then enjoy
Tips
- Add chopped green onions or bell peppers for extra flavor
- Freeze well! Just reheat in the microwave for busy mornings
- Swap cheddar for mozzarella or pepper jack if you’re feeling wild
