Turkey Cranberry Sandwich

Sweet, savory, and cozy—this sandwich is perfect for lunch, brunch, or using up leftover turkey

Ingredients (US measures)

  • 8 slices brioche or sourdough bread
  • 12 slices roasted turkey breast
  • ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese or provolone (optional but recommended)
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise (or cream cheese for a richer taste)
  • 2 tbsp Dijon or honey mustard (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened (for grilling)
  • Fresh lettuce or baby spinach (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Option 1: Cold Sandwich

  1. Spread mayonnaise (or cream cheese) on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Add a layer of turkey slices.
  3. Spoon cranberry sauce evenly over the turkey.
  4. Add cheese and lettuce/spinach if using.
  5. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  6. Top with the remaining bread slices, cut in half, and serve.

Option 2: Grilled Turkey Cranberry Sandwich (Highly Recommended )

  1. Spread mayo or cream cheese on the inside of the bread slices.
  2. Layer turkey, cranberry sauce, and cheese.
  3. Close the sandwiches.
  4. Butter the outside of each sandwich.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Grill sandwiches 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove, slice, and enjoy warm 🤍

  • Use brie cheese for a sweet, creamy upgrade
  • Add thin apple slices for crunch
  • Swap mayo for garlic aioli
