- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional but delicious)
- 1½ pounds baby potatoes, halved or quartered
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steak:
In a bowl, toss the beef cubes with soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika. Set aside while you prepare the potatoes. - Cook the potatoes:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add potatoes, season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and fork-tender.
Remove potatoes from the pan and set aside. - Sear the steak bites:
In the same skillet, increase heat to high.
Add steak bites in a single layer (cook in batches if needed).
Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until nicely browned and juicy. Do not overcook. - Make the garlic butter:
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet.
Stir for 30–60 seconds until fragrant. - Combine:
Return potatoes to the pan and toss everything together until well coated in garlic butter. - Finish & serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
