- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Brown the beef
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed. - Add garlic & seasoning
Stir in garlic, onion powder, and Cajun seasoning. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. - Add rice & broth
Add the uncooked rice and beef broth. Stir well, bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15–18 minutes, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. - Make it creamy

Add cheddar and Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted and creamy. - Finish & serve
Taste and adjust salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley if you like. Serve hot!
Tips
- Want it spicy? Add chili flakes or extra Cajun seasoning
- Want it extra cheesy? Throw in mozzarella too
- Works great as a one-pan dinner for busy nights
