Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta
Creamy, cheesy, loaded with flavor — total comfort food favorite!
Ingredients
- 12 oz (340 g) pasta (penne, rotini, or bowtie)
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced or shredded
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half & half)
- 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
Optional:
- ½ cup mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
- Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta
Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside. - Cook bacon & chicken
- In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil or butter.
- Add chicken, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cook until heated through and lightly golden.
- Make it creamy
- Lower heat and add garlic, ranch dressing, and cream.
- Stir well and simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Add cheese & pasta
- Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked pasta and bacon. Toss until fully coated.
- Finish & serve
Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley or green onions.
Serving Tips
- Serve hot with garlic bread or a fresh salad
- Want it baked? Transfer to a dish, top with cheese, bake 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes
